December Self-Care Challenge Day 25: Take A 15 Minute Nap

Merry Christmas My Friends!

By now Santa has come and eaten his cookies while laying out all the presents for the little ones. You’ve been woken up early by excited children’s voices, and everyone has gathered to open the presents under the tree.

Perhaps you even had enough energy to make breakfast, and everyone is now laying around surrounded by their goodies and all the torn and discarded wrapping paper. They are stuffed, satisfied, and content.

Now is the time to practice self-care.

Leave the wrapping paper on the floor, the dishes in the sink, and go take a 15-minute nap.

By taking 15 minutes to nap, or even just lay there with your eyes closed you will

· Reduce your fatigue

· Relax

· Increase your alertness

· Improve your mood.

· Improve memory

· And improve your reaction time just to name a few benefits.

So today, on the biggest holiday of the year, take 15 minutes for self-care and take a nap my friends, you deserve it!
