No show notes for this section, I just wanted to give an update on things.
On the Couch:
This week on the Couch segment I go over all my current wips and languishing projects for the Project Down Along PAL.
This las week I discovered I have
8 pairs of socks
8 shawls
6 sweaters
6 blankets
1 mitten
1 toy
Total = 30 projects on the needles.
Some I will rip out and some I will finish this year.
My goal is to have less than 10 of these current projects on the needles by the end of 2022. I plan on casting off at least one project a month for the duration of the PAL. However, I am also allowing myself the space to cast on anything I want and desire for my little guy that is due in June!
To Frog
3 Socks
1 sweater
1 shawl
2 blanket
total 7 projects frogged
marked below with ****Frogging this project****
So now have 23 projects on the needles!

Sweaters on the Needles
Knit with Knit Picks High Desert Sport weight in the Lupine colorway
Cast on in Summer 2021
Knit with Knit Picks Lindy Chain in the Harbor colorway
Cast on spring of 2018
****Frogging this project****

Knit with Elspeth Lavold Silky Wool in Brown, Dark Blue and White
Cast on in July of 2019
Knitted in Elsbeth Lavold Silky wool in DK weight Pink and purple
I am not sure when I cast this on but I think in the spring of 2020.
I also am not sure where the rest of the yarn for the sweater is so until I find it this sweater remains on hold.
But I sure love it! so I hope I find the yarn or I will have to Frog it. :(

Knit with Cascade Heritage in Plum and Long Dog Yarn in New Growth
Cast on in in February 2021
I think I my plan is to first, reblock the sweater to see if that fixes the fit in the body problem.
If it does then I will continue on to the sleeves. If it doesn't I will rip out to the sleeves and adjust the stitches for a better fit for me.
Knit with Dream in Color Smooshy in the Juliet's Blush Colorway
Cast on in the Spring of 2016 OLDEST SWEATER WIP!
Will try and figure out exactly where I am in the body and continue on with it - I love this sweater so I would love to finish it.

Knit with Malibrigo Sock in Light of Love Colorway
Cast on in Summer of 2020
Have completed the front of bust and cast on for the back. I think I can complete this so I will continue on with the project.
Shawls on the Needles
Knit in Annie Paaron Yarns in all of her Bridgerton colorways.
Cast on Thanksgiving Day 2021
waiting on new needles to arrive to continue with the project.
Knit in Alaska Jude's Yarn - No colorway
Cast on July 25th 2021
Will continue with project it's so beautiful!
Knitting in a mystery white worsted weight. I believe it was a handspun that was gifted to me. I have 2 skeins and am guessing I have about 500 yards
Will try and figure out where I am at in the pattern and continue on.

Knit in Rowan Lima in colorways 894 (Blue) and 889 (brownish grey)
OLDEST SHAWL WIP!!!!! cast on in 2011!!!!
I mean I have to finish it don't I??? lol
Knit using Sew Happy Jane in the Aubergine, and Lavenders Blue colorway as well as Hazel Knits in the Cabbage Rose colorway
Cast on in March of 2019
Cast on to knit with my niece (who has been a guest on the podcast) she finished it, I didn't get past the first color. I want to finish this though.
Knit using Swift Yarns in the Folklore colorway, Plucky Knitter in the Move Over Darling Colorway, and a mystery white fingering weight yarn.
This is perhaps my 2nd oldest shawl wip having cast on in 2018.
I think the reason I haven't finished this project is that I really dislike knitting with the plucky knitter yarn. But I do love how it looks and I believe I am 1/2 way done so I want to finish it. Especially since I really love the Swift Yarn and the mystery yarn.
I cast this on in Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud in the colorways Anna (blue) and Matthew (pink)
Cast on in 2021
I didn't even bother creating a project page for this as I didn't get very far and I am ripping it out.
Honestly I just found it to boring lol.
****Frogging this project****
Knit with Malabrigo Lace in colors white, blue, and yellow/gold
Cast on in Summer of 2018 for my mom.
Blankets on the Needles
Knit with minis from my two swap partners from the 2021 Happy Everything and Merry in July Swap:)
Plan on continuing this blanket
Mystery Blanket
I know this pattern was from the Maxon Dixon team and I thought it was from their book "Activism" but I couldn't find it. SO I will be Frogging this one.
I think I cast this on back in 2011 and I know I have some finished squares somewhere.
****Frogging this project****
I was using my coveted and beloved minis from company ROW One. I love this subscription and I plan on reupping mine this month :)
cast on in 2021
I am frogging this as I feel that I just am not that interested in knitting an entire blanket from this pattern, and I want it out of circulation.
****Frogging this project****
Knitted with scarps and minis from all the swap partners over the years :)
